    I love how this takes me back to my childhood days of painting by numbers. The beautiful images and detailed painting areas provides hours of enjoyment. For me, the only downside is that there are many tiny areas to paint and even the smallest brush included frays and isn’t good enough to get to those small areas.

    I was so excited to receive this canvas and get started. It’s my first experience with this type of kit so needed to get suggestions from the company regarding how to get the wrinkles out before starting. The company support responses were prompt and helpful. I followed the suggestion regarding purchasing a frame and dealing with the wrinkles. However, I tried several times to stretch the canvas for a tight fit but could not get it to fit without a few gathers along the sides. After many unsuccessful attempts I had to resort to calling Hobby Lobby who can stretch it for me but at a cost of $80 (since it is a rather large piece) and it won’t be ready for 2 weeks. So disappointed that I have to wait now and also incur the expense of the canvas stretching. Possibly my expectations were a little high since I assumed the “kit” would be inclusive. Had I known this in advance I would have started with a smaller piece for my first try. I love the design and am just hopeful that it will be worth the wait and the extra expense.

    I spent many days tinkering with this painting and painted up through color #10. Once I got nearly all of the blue background painted, along with the complementary blues in the background, I realized that the colors in this painting wouldn’t look at all like the original. Not only that, the colors I am using don’t look good next to each other on the painting. If I spent the remaining time on this to paint the whole painting, I would not be satisfied with the end result and would NEVER want to display it. Very disappointing. Also, many of the numbers and lines show through the paint (and I was making it thicker there too). Just not anything I would ever frame or display. I took a great deal of time and detail to paint this up through paint color #10 and am really upset that I wasted that time. Also, I purchased 3 other paintings and I don’t even want to try them because they are probably the same – the colors won’t look like the picture, the number will show through the paint, and the colors I end up with won’t even complement each other or look like they were meant to go together.

    This is my first paint by numbers. The site has some great info and the paper pattern is very helpful. I have taken pictures with my cell phone to blow it up for those hard to read areas. If I had to criticize it would be it took forever to get and the paint brushes are not the best. Invest in a set, I think I paid about $12. On Amazon and they were significantly better for those small hard to paint areas.

    I’m in the process of doing my custom painting now. The colors that came with it are terribly mismatched. I’m having to make the corrections by following my original picture and using some of my own paints. On the other hand the canvas print is good quality. Lines and numbers are clearly shown and paint is covering the canvas without extra coats. So basically I like it with reservations.

    I got this painting about a year ago, I’m a student so I worked on it here and there hence it took me a few months to finish. My issue is that he’s paint can get pretty thick easily. A good way around the just is to tighten the cap after every time you put the brush in, it’s not ideal but it works. I have bought from several different places and in my experience it has all had the same issue. I am not a painter but I really enjoyed working on this and it’s final outcome.
    Note: also can Ben wrinkly but again I have not found a vender without this issue.

    This was my second paint by number kit. I purchased this for the benefit of gaining skill in painting by numbers. The quality of the product was excellent. The paints were very thick and in hindsight I should have diluted each of them with water prior to use, thus not making the colors so dark on my first application. Halfway through the project I decided to use my own colors–big mistake. I should have completed the painting with paint supplied and applied my own color variations at the end. Needless to say, i ruined the picture and discarded it. I since purchased Four Seasons and it came out beter than I planned. I personally prefer a matte finish for my paintings. Overall I was completely satisfied with the product but unhappy with how I approached the project. This gave me countless hours of enjoyment painting. My plans are to have a custom print done to paint.

The canvas is nice and thick and the borders and numbers printed on canvas are dark enough to see, but not so dark that it’s difficult to cover with the paint. Prices are awesome!

    I really enjoyed doing this painting. It was my first one and the outcome was beautiful. I was really impressed in the canvas as well as the paints.
