The reason I give it 4 stars is because a few of the colors do not cover the lines and numbers on the canvas, even with 3 coats. I found I had to go over all colors at least twice which was fine, but some of the colors just don’t lay well. Also, 2 of the colors were mixed up. Color 21 was really 22 and 22 was really 21. There was a large part of the water that called for 22, which was green. And many areas within the plants that called for 21 which was blue. But all in all, I would recommend this scene.

This was my second paint by number kit. I purchased this for the benefit of gaining skill in painting by numbers. The quality of the product was excellent. The paints were very thick and in hindsight I should have diluted each of them with water prior to use, thus not making the colors so dark on my first application. Halfway through the project I decided to use my own colors–big mistake. I should have completed the painting with paint supplied and applied my own color variations at the end. Needless to say, i ruined the picture and discarded it. I since purchased Four Seasons and it came out beter than I planned. I personally prefer a matte finish for my paintings. Overall I was completely satisfied with the product but unhappy with how I approached the project. This gave me countless hours of enjoyment painting. My plans are to have a custom print done to paint.

I knew I was going to love this one and it didn’t disappoint. The colors are so vibrant, actually better than what the picture depicted. This is my second thus far and I plan on continuing until I’ve painted all of the items on the site that interest me (or until my fingers fall off, whichever happens first). The outcome is pretty much identical to the product picture and I’m very pleased with it. The only reason I took one star off is because two of the paints were a bit dry and thus difficult to work with; the other four or five were too watery and I had to repaint three or four times to make sure the color looked vibrant and wasn’t see through. All in all, I would definitely purchase from the site and do it again.

Loved the whole experience–relaxing to do, and the painting came out so much better than I imagined. The colors are brighter than the original and sometimes not exact matches (for example, a gray-green in the original painting was beige in the kit), but the paint is good quality and the brushes worked very well.
The only tricky part for me was mounting the canvas before I started. I had to find the right size stretcher bars (cheap and readily available online) and wrestle with the canvas and a staple gun. But it was worth the trouble, and much cheaper than getting it done by a professional.
I couldn’t be happier with the painting, and I’m definitely going to do another one.

First off I will say this company offers fantastic shipping with the canvases. Having the canvases rolled around foam is a lot better than other companies that shipped them folded and creased. Enough paint was sent for the canvas with planting left over. Not my favorite painting after I finished it but no fault of this company. I would suggest buying your own brushes to do any paint by numbers.

I was so excited to receive this canvas and get started. It’s my first experience with this type of kit so needed to get suggestions from the company regarding how to get the wrinkles out before starting. The company support responses were prompt and helpful. I followed the suggestion regarding purchasing a frame and dealing with the wrinkles. However, I tried several times to stretch the canvas for a tight fit but could not get it to fit without a few gathers along the sides. After many unsuccessful attempts I had to resort to calling Hobby Lobby who can stretch it for me but at a cost of $80 (since it is a rather large piece) and it won’t be ready for 2 weeks. So disappointed that I have to wait now and also incur the expense of the canvas stretching. Possibly my expectations were a little high since I assumed the “kit” would be inclusive. Had I known this in advance I would have started with a smaller piece for my first try. I love the design and am just hopeful that it will be worth the wait and the extra expense.

doing the tower was very enjoyable, but, always a but, many details are left out. Beneath the tower there are small factories in the distance, that’s why the smoke stackes. I’m finding more and more swirls are put in to replace,backround things that enhance the over all picture. The same with other paintings as well. I look at this lack of detail as a challange and work harder on the painting.

I enjoyed doing this so much, I ordered another one as soon as I finished. The colors are beautiful and I spent hours relaxing and painting. I like layering the paint on thick, and I ran out of #2 paint but I was able to replace it with the other blues. It isn’t an exact match of the original painting and some of the colors are slightly off (the branches are more green in this) but it still came out looking great! I would even consider doing this one again and give it away as a gift. Recommend!

I have ordered pbn kits from many companies in the last several months. I have to say that the quality of these is the highest out of all of the brands! The canvas is nice and thick and the borders and numbers printed on canvas are dark enough to see, but not so dark that it’s difficult to cover with the paint. Prices are awesome!

Loved painting the monkey with headphones. Took me about 2 hours a day for 5 days to paint it. I found some of the colours were not the same as the photo and some of the numbers on the painting were not very visible but still lots of fun!

This was my second paint by number kit. I purchased this for the benefit of gaining skill in painting by numbers. The quality of the product was excellent. The paints were very thick and in hindsight I should have diluted each of them with water prior to use, thus not making the colors so dark on my first application. Halfway through the project I decided to use my own colors–big mistake. I should have completed the painting with paint supplied and applied my own color variations at the end. Needless to say, i ruined the picture and discarded it. I since purchased Four Seasons and it came out beter than I planned. I personally prefer a matte finish for my paintings. Overall I was completely satisfied with the product but unhappy with how I approached the project. This gave me countless hours of enjoyment painting. My plans are to have a custom print done to paint.

I took three weeks to paint Solar Crest. Had some problems that meant I couldn’t paint right. I closed the paint but the lid popped open. 6 was open all night and dried out. I had to improvise to make up for it. Adding picture.
