doing the tower was very enjoyable, but, always a but, many details are left out. Beneath the tower there are small factories in the distance, that’s why the smoke stackes. I’m finding more and more swirls are put in to replace,backround things that enhance the over all picture. The same with other paintings as well. I look at this lack of detail as a challange and work harder on the painting.

This one looked the best, so I chose this one and left the others for my adult children who have younger eyes. I loved painting it and am thrilled with how it turned out. I was amazed at how tiny some of the areas are that have numbers on them. I purchased a magnifying lamp to be able to see all of the different small areas to paint. I haven’t finished the painting, in fact I cannot stare at this for long periods of time without getting a headache. A lot of the reviews I read say that this is relaxing… I don’t see how. Maybe I should have started with something with less detail? Perhaps when I have completed more of the painting I will have a better review.

This painting is gorgeous but different from all the others I bought before, this one had the drawing printed in red and not in black. Also, one of the paints was quite liquid so more than one coat was necessary to cover the red numbers. Other than that, great painting!
