Loved painting the monkey with headphones. Took me about 2 hours a day for 5 days to paint it. I found some of the colours were not the same as the photo and some of the numbers on the painting were not very visible but still lots of fun!

This was my first paint by numbers. Very different from what I remember from childhood! It was very relaxing and engrossing- I lost track of time as I painted. Loved the finished product so much I had it professionally framed and hung it in my room. One star off for some paints that were a bit dry and not having a gridded map to refer to when the numbers were not clear (so many tiny areas made up the tree, it was easy to lose sight of some of the pattern). I have started on my second painting- paint is all smooth and the grid has proven really helpful. Will definitely do more.

This was my second paint by number piece and much more difficult than my first piece. It probably took me over 100 hours of working on it but it was well worth it. The outcome is pretty much identical to the product picture and I’m very pleased with it. The only reason I took one star off is because two of the paints were a bit dry and thus difficult to work with; the other four or five were too watery and I had to repaint three or four times to make sure the color looked vibrant and wasn’t see through. All in all, I would definitely purchase from the site and do it again.

I have found the B E S T Hobby! I love this concept. Very clever and rewarding. I give my paintings as loved gifts to my family & friends and look forward to picking up my brush. They are puzzles and paintings with a wonderful result. My tip with some thick paint colours is to add a little water. I worked this out after I struggled a little with my first one. Perhaps some instructions would be helpful

This was my first paint bt number.. I did have to go to Michaels for more paint-definitely not enough if the mosr used colors!! I paid (alot) to have it framed- couldn’t be happier. I think tips should be included for those of us who are not Artists. (Take a picture before starting, Gesso primer, finishing spray, paint the number…). Loved the colors!

Very nice details. Paints are easy to apply. Fun craft to do with my teen daughter. I would consider adding a frame next time. A lovely gift idea for grandparents and others when finished.
One comment: very small brushes develop a “tail” which makes hitting the tight areas a challenge.

It took a while to get to me, and I think it got lost the first time, but I mentioned it to customer service and they sent a new one on its way! The painting is on a nice, sturdy canvas and there are multiple brushes included that make it very easy to paint in the tiny places and the big ones too! I’m still working on this, but I’m very excited to see it finished!

First off I will say this company offers fantastic shipping with the canvases. Having the canvases rolled around foam is a lot better than other companies that shipped them folded and creased. Enough paint was sent for the canvas with planting left over. Not my favorite painting after I finished it but no fault of this company. I would suggest buying your own brushes to do any paint by numbers.

The canvas is good quality and the paint is fine. My only frustration was that the there was one color that they needed to send at least one more little container of. I think it was either color #2 or #5 (I don’t remember). The top part of the painting is full of different dark shades and I ended up scraping the sides to get every bit of paint out. The lighter colors need several coats to cover up the number. Some numbers were hard to decipher or really close to the edge but it’s not impossible to figure out. As they say on the site, it did take about a month for it to arrive.

Not sure if I’ll continue with this one. This is with 2 coats of paint on most of the spaces, I can still clearly see the lines and numbers. I’m not sure if this is typical, or if my paints are bad, or what. Maybe it’s just because it’s lighter colors? I guess I was expecting better coverage. Is it normal to take several coats of paint? The photos are in natural light and no filters. Kind of bummed, this was my first paint by numbers! 🙁

My partner bought this for me a year ago. She noticed I was interested because a friend was doing a paint by numbers.
Finally I started it and was hooked. Started around 9pm and looked up and it was 1am. Very addicting, but in a good way. Peaceful, calming and interesting. And yes, the tiny numbers are a challenge even with a magnifying glass.
Even after a year, only 1 of the paints were too thick and after mixing it, it was fine.
I did run out of one of the colors, it’s the color that uses the most paint. Today, I contacted the company by email asking if I
could get another container of that color from them. Anxiously awaiting their reply, because I am done after that.
I am now looking for another painting to do. And curious about the one’s you can send in a photo.

I have always loved Van Gogh’s paintings and I was excited to get this one to paint. The painting was challenging and fun, but the colors shown in the finished picture on your website were not the same as the colors in the picture that I did. My painting was much darker and did not show the details in the painting, such as the people strolling.
